(More customer reviews)I usually use a mouse pad with a wrist rest (say that three times fast) and it really keeps my hand and wrist comfortable all day. This pad is different than my nylon covered one; it is a clear, plastic with a very pleasing softness. The pad has a special finish underneath that sticks to your desk and won't slide. You can press your wrist against the pad, the mouse pad stays in place and it's easier to move the mouse around. I am not entirely delighted with the magenta color scheme and daisies--I have a black desk with leather and stainless steel mesh accessories so it's a bit frou-frou for me but the pad itself is heavenly to use. If you want to rest your wrist as you use a computer all day, I have to say, this is one comfy mouse pad.

(More customer reviews)I just got this, and it is a fine pad. However, this thing smells like S***!! Its not a random smell it has got that industrial polyester smell, but it is really bad! It gives me a headache just being close. Rinsing it under the sink helps, but it still smells aweful and im going to try the washing machine.
Haha i swear to you im not making this up... i just got the belkin mousepad too...same stench!
maybe the other brands have this too, but just be warned.

The gel inside of the wrist pad is very soft and your wrist practically sinks into it when you use it. If you need more comfort at work or at home when you type, this is definitly the answer.

(More customer reviews)I've had one for a few years now and I wouldn't trade it for any other. It's actually long enough to span the length of my dell keyboard, plus hang over enough to use with the mouse as well. I need to get another for the office because after just a couple hours I can feel my wrists start to hurt from resting on the hard desk. But I often sit for 10 or more hours straight working at home, and never feel discomfort with the gel rest. It's also really easy to clean unlike the ones that have fabric on them, and that's important to me with two young kids and a husband that use it too. I also find the fabric ones starts to irritate my skin from the constant friction against the rough fabric, and that's completely eliminated with this one.
