(More customer reviews)I've had no problems with this stapler, so I'd recommend to anyone for whom smaller staplers just aren't enough--that is, if you have to staple more than 25 sheets or so.
If you're not sure which variety of staples to put fill it with, the stapler has a guide printed on it for staple size and number of sheets:
1/4" staples: 2-25 sheets
3/8" staples: 25-60 sheets
1/2" staples: 40-90 sheets [I usually use these, since I'm usually stapling academic papers]
5/8" staples: 75-120 sheets
3/4" staples: 90-160 sheets

(More customer reviews)I'd have to disagree with the other reviewer, where I suspect the problem may be caused by the use of the wrong-sized staples. I've used this model of stapler for a couple of years for stapling booklets. Like all long-arm staplers, it's bulky, but it works reliably for up to about 25 pages (as advertised).

This is Sam Kochel again and now I am reviewing a product that once demonstrated to my father and also my stepfather, the former ended up having me pick one up for him and the later bought a whole set of them for everyone in his law office. Myself, I have one at home and 1 in my classroom where I teach.
Here's what I have to say about it:
This is by far the best stapler you will ever use. It may not be heavy and feel good like a nice professional looking one, but it is very easy to operate and compress and will easily put a staple through 20 sheets of paper as it says, probably more...as I've tested it. You can open this stapler up and literally shoot staples 15 feet with this thing: that's the kind of power your going to generate, and all with a spring that is pre-cocked, so it requires very little effort. My dad got his because he is getting arthritis and has trouble more and more with his hands, so this is perfect for him. I got mine because of two reasons. 1) Sometimes I staple many many sheets together at a time for some school related thing, and 2) I like gadgets...I am not certain that is the correct order of importance, but regardless, this stapler is TOTALLY worth is and the best. I highly recommend it.
Lastly, I hope this review was useful to you and that my efforts were not wasted, it was much harder to write this than it would have been to use this stapler.
