(More customer reviews)Good quality chair. Did not take long at all to assemble. When putting in the bottom bracket, please note the screws needed for this are already in the bottom cushion. Just remove the screws from the underside of the cushion, put the metal bracket in place (it will end up holding the section that has the wheels), and use the screws to secure it in place. I have purchased two of these chairs.

Alera SR41LS50B Strada Series High-Back Swivel/Tilt Chair with Brown Leather Upholstery Review

I must admit that from the picture, we thought it was a "purple-ish" chair, but upon receiving (and reading the description) it's certainly a brown leather chair.
The chair was very easy to assemble and came with all parts and tools necessary to do so, as well as instructions. It took less than 20 minutes to unpack assemble and only a few more minutes to get the "settings" right and comfy.
All in all, this is a very comfortable chair. The padding is very adequate and i don't notice the adjustment screw under the seat cushion like i often do. The arms are at the perfect height and have good, comfortable support. The very high back makes this chair a real winner, too. One thing i did not expect but was pleasantly surprised was that this chair has a very generous width to accommodate even crossed-leg style sitting -- not very ergo, i know, but who's telling the ergo-police??
The chair enjoys all of the adjustments you can expect and provides nice lumbar support.The plastic base is typical of these types of chairs and doesn't exceed or fall below my expectations. It is quite stable and i didn't feel i was going to fall over in my initial tests.
Conclusion: It's not a Hermann-Miller chair, but for $800 less, you can enjoy a very comfortable chair for a very comfortable price. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for a good chair at a good price!

I purchased this chair last week . The delivery was right on time and it was very easy to put together, all the needed tools and instruction were in the box.
This is a very good chair for the money. Sturdy, comfortable and perfectly balanced.
I highly recommend this model if you spend a lot of time at your desk like I do.
The padded arm rests come in handy when I have my feet up on the desk with my keyboard in my lap.
If you are looking for a chair in this price range, this one will not disappoint you. I highly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)These wheels have solved my problem. With a carpet and padding underneath, it was hard to roll my office style chair around. If I was sitting a little forward on the chair, it would tip forward rather than roll forward. If I was standing near the chair and wanted to move it, pushing at the top of the back of the chair would only tip it over.
I tried a vinyl mat. The result was the formation of little "craters" where I sat in the chair most. That made it even harder to move the chair. I then tried cutting a large piece of fibre-board into a chair mat. The result of that was such generation of static electricity that I believe it was the cause of both my system unit and monitor power supplies failing with a literal bang.
With these big casters, the chair rolls easily and can be easily pushed without tipping.

This has really helped being able to sit at the desk without back pain. If it had a thicker softer cushion it would be perfect. Rolling stools were ver hard to find so I turned to Amazon--of course!

The back and seat had stains on them (which the supplier had agreed to replace) and they were also very hard with minimal cushioning. We retured the chair!
