You'll be surprised by the variety of shapes and structures you can build with them,
and you'll usually find some new ideas accidentally.
The examples they give on the manual are just the tip of the iceberg.
You'll really get hours of fun out of this, and your friends and colleagues will be jealous.
Unfortunately, they are so strong that they actually damage each other very quickly.
After just a few days, they dig through the thin layer of shiny plating, at the magnetic poles.
Maybe they are "made to break", so that when you finally get bored of them, they are too damaged for you to give them to your envious friends or colleagues, so they have to buy new ones instead.

Quartet 2' x 1.5' Cork Bulletin Board with Aluminum Frame (2301) Review

(More customer reviews)The marker board is what it is; comfortably large (enough to allow me to write what I need, small enough to fit in a bedroom for studying), easily cleaned, sturdy, and easily mounted. It's only down-side is that the mounting brackets are slanted down and outward, which is slightly awkward. I'd recommend it as a purchase.
Update: I've been using two of these boards for about three years, now. They suffer from ghosting (failure to completely erase old markings) like all melamine whiteboards do, but not enough that it interferes with usage. Three years out I'm still happy with it - you just need to wash it with a dilute ammonia solution now and again.

They hold tightly to any metal surface even through paint and epoxy. I used them to hold a sheet of Plexiglas to a metal machine part. I would recommend them.
