The stool is heavy duty, so most men will be able to step up on it carrying a heavy load. The finish is polished steel, which looks excellent with a minimun amount of cleaning. There is a good amount of rubber to keep the stool from damaging walls, doors, or furniture if it should be pushed into one of them by accident. The stool has spring-loaded rollers that permit easy movement of the stool from place to place. The rollers retract as you apply weight to the stool so that the stool remains in place. The stool give you 14 inches of height, which is good for many household, workshop, office, or library needs. Even some large pantries or closets could use one of these stools. The steps have slip resistant rubber on them.
This step stool is my preferred variety because of its sturdiness and quality. If you keep the stool clean it will maintain its appearance for years. It is easy to use, move and store. The general design of this product has remained stable for years, but sometimes a product works so well that it seems there is little that can be done to make it better. This product is those nearly perfect products.
