(More customer reviews)I recently purchased two of these desks in the cherry finish. First of all, I love the look of these desks! The clean lines have a simple, elegant, de-cluttered look, without being too plain. The quality is good. And the price is reasonable, too.
All the parts were there - no missing pieces. There were even a few extra parts included as backup.
The instructions are very thorough and clear, in English, with both written instructions and pictures showing each step. Most of the desk is put together with locking cam bolts, so once you figure out how to put the cam locks together, you will just breeze through the rest of the installation.
The hardest part (and it wasn't very hard at all) was putting the sliding drawer into position and screwing it in place. That's tricky because you want to make sure the drawer is even on both sides. But it didn't take me too long.
But by FAR my favorite part of this product was the divided packaging of the small parts. The small parts came in their own separate packages - "Open this for step 1, this for step 2, etc." That was WONDERFUL because I had everything I needed for each step, without having to sort and count out all the parts. What a time saver! And I knew that I needed to use every part before I went on to the next step.
I think it took me about an hour and a half to put each desk together. Not bad for someone who doesn't do this very often. If you like the look of these desks, then give them a try. The price is good, the quality is good, and the assembly isn't scary at all!
