(More customer reviews)This is nice and sturdy. It is perfect for picking up heavier trash and works so much better than the plastic models I had before. Plus, I figure if it gets gunky I can just run it through the dishwasher with some bleach which is not something I would do with the plastic ones. But, I haven't done this yet so I can't say whether the paint will chip.
