I paid $59 for this at a local Fry's Electronics. If this were $20, it would still be too much. I have put together many cheap desks, but this unit is by far the worst to date.
*Screws are too big for the holes and require you push with with all your might while screwing them. It would have been better to bust out the drill and drill the proper size hole myself.
*The sliding trays are not so slidey. There are no rollers in the tracks; it's metal-on-metal. I gobbed on some grease thinking it may help break it in some - nope. You should plan to pull the top tray out and push the bottom tray in to a permanent position, because you will never slide these trays again without donkey-kicking them and knocking over your monitor & computer.
*The metal frame is cheap and flimsy and will require quite a bit of wrestling with to get everything aligned while you screw everything in.
*Wheels also do not operate as wheels should. After putting this junk together, the wheels served as comic relief as we watched them NOT spin, but rather LOCK UP and glide across the carpet as if there were no wheels on the bottom at all. The kicker is, there are actually locking levers on the wheels as if you might need to lock the wheels up anymore than they already are; perhaps if this desk will be sitting on a steep hill, the locks may serve a purpose.
I always try to find something positive. The best I could come up with is, they didn't mess up the glass. It's see-thru and rectangular as it should be.
Save your money and the 2 hours of your life it will take to assemble this utter failure of a desk.
