Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I have never written a review before. However, the lack of customer service and pure stupidity of this company has driven me to write this review. DO NOT BUY WALKER EDISON PRODUCTS. Here's why:
When I received this desk, I was unable to build the drawer because there wasn't a hole drilled for the latch, thus making it impossible to build. I called and talked with a rep., who told me to email in pictures of the faulty drawer. I did so and they sent me new parts. I was happily satisfied with the service...until I opened the box. The new parts had an entirely DIFFERENT problem! The hinge slots didn't line up (.5 in off!) I called again and emailed the pics just as before, this time requesting that they build a drawer and send it to me since they now had sent me faulty parts twice. While I was growing frustrated, I was pleased when the phone rep. said they would send me a drawer pre-built right away. Note: It took a week for the company to get back to me about this. FINALLY, I receive the pre-built drawer. But WAIT! It's missing 2 parts!! That's right....they put it together and forgot 2 pieces. At this point, I am incredibly annoyed. I call the same rep, he apologizes and sends me new parts (he put the drawer together himself). Just as I feel we're in the home stretch, I receive the parts (2 wks later, mind you)......and guess what?! Not only did they send me the WRONG parts, but they also didn't send another set of instructions, like I requested. You see, they were supposed to send me a pre-built drawer. Therefore I didn't see why in the world I would need to hang on to the instructions since they were doing all the building. Well, here I am. One and a half months later and I have the wrong parts and no instructions, so even if they were the right parts, I wouldn't know how to install them anyways. If I haven't convinced you to look elsewhere for furniture, you didn't read this carefully enough. I'm not the type to rant and rave about bad business...I tend to give folks the benefit of the doubt and assume it's just a mistake. But when you have this many mistakes...for a desk that costs nearly $200 (at least when I bought it), you have a right to be angry.
