Every piece was securely packaged, all the pieces were labeled, and each different piece of hardware was sorted into individually labeled bags. The screw holes all lined up, and I put the whole thing together with a manual screwdriver in about two hours by myself. It looks fantastic and is very sturdy.
The hutch does not attach to the desk, it just sits on top, but it has non-skid feet so it stays in place. Also, the slide out keyboard tray also works as a drawer for supplies. You have to unlatch it to serve as a keyboard tray, so if you are just using a laptop, you have lots of extra storage space.
