(More customer reviews)This thing was nowhere near as easy as the review made it sound to install. In fairness, I didn't allow for a lip under my computer table, nor did I measure to see that the platform and sliding drawer would fit with it mounted in the same location as my prvious unit.
My flaws admitted, this thing is so poorly designed that the screw holes don't even line up between the tray and the movable mount! Since the fittings are metal and I am in no way a mechanic, I found the easiest way for me to make it function was to use the tray from my previous unit on the mount for the new one. At least, the holes matched!
The instructions were useless cartoons, so I'm still not sure I did eveything correctly, but they made for a decent firestarter in the fireplace.
The only thing that actually works, and it does work well, it the tray mount itself. It is easy to maneuver and rigid enough for my Beethovenesque typing. I can set it at any angle I find comfortable with a simple twist and slide.
This unit is poorly fitted for the tray, difficult to assemble with the parts and fittings included and the instructions are worse than a joke. For a few dollars more, and maybe less, there are better units out there. We have several at my office that were simple to install and work at least as well.
