(More customer reviews)I needed to replace my old Fellowes as it just stopped working mid shred. I had no idea I was suppose to be oiling it on a regular basis. It lasted for about five years so I wanted to get another Fellowes to replace it. I figured if I oiled it, it should last even longer. This one had what I was looking for, a higher sheet capacity, a slimmer profile, and a drawer to empty rather than a basket. The basket types are hard for me to empty because lifting the motor up is too difficult with RA. It's the drawer that's the problem. When I pull out the drawer there are still paper shreds hanging down and they get scraped by the drawer and fall on the floor. This requires a broom and dustpan or the vaccuum to clean up. Normally I only use the shredder for a sheet or two a few times a week. So I don't empty it every time. But, when I'm shredding a years worth of cancelled checks, and the shredder can only run 5 minutes with a down time of at least 20 minutes, and in that 5 minutes the drawer gets full, I'm constantly cleaning up paper pieces. Or my office space starts to look like a hamster cage. All in all it works great for the occasional use, but, if there's a stack of shredding to be done, it can get a little annoying.
