(More customer reviews)This is a great product. The sound is surprisingly good for the size and having the remote to control the ipod is very useful, since you can't from the base. Only sound, power, and light on/off control is on the lamp itself. The bass enhancement is a one-press button that does very little, but that's to be expected from a unit this small.(5watts total output) The base support is solid unlike the cheaper iHL10, but it came out of the box a little loose, so I had to tighten the large flathead screw to keep the shaft in the position I preferred. (problem easily solved) Plus, you can also adjust the head to point in any position as well. The halogen bulb shines bright & much better than my traditional lamp.
Lowes had these on clearance with their XMAS items, so I picked it up for $25.00 new! Frankly, I think it's too spendy at $100+ for what you get. With all of its coolness, full controls on the base would have been nice along with a spot to stash the controller, and because of the high street price I'm giving it 4 stars.
