(More customer reviews)I ordered this machine because I wanted a large, bright display. My eyesight isn't what it used to be. And the display is great.
The manual, however, is awful. It is in many languages. The print is small and what it says is not very informative. It does show samples. If you are used to this type of machine, it is probably adequate, but I'm not.
I have been able to use it, but I haven't had the patience to learn all the things it can do.
Also they only include a tiny roll of paper.

(More customer reviews)This is a small printing calculator, a decent choice if you want something smaller than the space-hogging large calculators. 4 AA batteries actually come with it. But although it's listed as AC/DC, no cord is supplied. Apparently that's an "extra".

Everything has been improved. Love the Calendar and Clock. And the Black color is great to have. Recommend it highly.

At home, I will be using it to keep my check book in order. The tapes that are used can be found in many stores and it is a nice size for either home or office.

(More customer reviews)I run a home business and keeping books is a critical part of my daily work. I needed a calculator that had large numbers, larger keys and printed off tape.
Scrounging around Amazon.com I came across several models that would have done the job well. I have had Sharp calculators in my office at work, and know this to be a reliable brand.
I came across this particular model, and having done some on line research, Amazon had the cheapest price of anyone on this model.
I have to say that I have not been disappointed in this purchase. It is a very reliable calculator, the paper tape with 2 color printout is very readable, and the numbers are large, well lit and the keys fit my big fat fingers. It has some great features like percentage and sales tax that you can place the sales tax % in memory. There are other tax functions as well.
This calculator does not take batteries, and that's fine cause it's a waste of money to put batteries in one of these.
This is a good calculator and one that I do recommend for the home office.
