(More customer reviews)This is a handsome, well-built stand that should outlast anything you plan to set on it. The construction is metal with a laminated particle board top, and it assembles easily with a screwdriver. My main purpose for buying this stand was to mount my laser printer, two smaller label printers, a print server, a network switch, and paper stock. The stand itself is large enough and the adjustable shelf easily accommodates a pair of label printers. The big problem however is that the cart was not designed for interior-mounted powered equipment because the shelf and the back panel lack pass-throughs for cords and cables. Consequently, any interior-mounted equipment has to receive cables from the front. This problem could be remedied with some do-it-yourself mods, but at this price the manufacturer should have designed them in. After looking it over and weighing the options I decided to re-task this stand as a mobile laptop cart, a function that it fulfills nicely. For my printers, I purchased a heavy duty bakers cart with wire shelves for about have the price. It's not quite as attractive, but it is larger and stronger and it holds my printers and equipment just fine. Had it not been for the high price and lack of cable pass-throughs, this cart would have earned 5 stars.
