(More customer reviews)I've owned this clock for several years - it's dependable, durable and reliable. I find it great to have the temperature readout, in both Fahrenheit and Celcius (that way I can whine bi-lingually when it's hot..). I've travelled with it, camped with it, and use it as my everyday bedside alarm. My only complaint is that the snooze button is set for only 5 minutes per "snooze" - hardly enough.

(More customer reviews)This is a great clock. The several others I purchased and returned before I ordered this one had a display so bright it was like having a night light sitting on the nightstand. This display is lit only when you press the button on top and then only for a few seconds - a second or two longer would be good but it's ok the way it is. Its features all work great: the solar power, setting itself from the atomic clock, and the date, time and temperature display. I have three complaints: pressing the button on top to turn on the indiglo night light to view the display makes a fairly loud click noise, one cannot choose to leave the indiglo light on (as one could on previous models of Timex alarm clocks), and the switch to turn the alarm on and off is not convenient.

Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm (White) Review

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these, (one for my husband and one for my teenage son), since they would automatically reset themselves after a power outage. They both immediately complained that the alarms were not loud enough, (both are VERY heavy sleepers). It does have a very light and polite beep with no volume control. However, the beeps gradually increase in frequency and after week of use, both of them are waking up easily to the sound and without the jarring blasts from our old alarms.
So, it may require getting accustomed to for heavy sleepers, but it's great for those of us who don't like to be blasted awake every day.

(More customer reviews)In Maryland it can be difficult to get a radio-controlled clock to pick up the time signal (it is sent from Colorado), so sometimes it is necessary to set the time manually. Unfortunately, a lot of atomic clocks make this very difficult, giving you only one or two cryptic buttons to use for settings, so it is either impossible to figure out how to set the time or it takes forever because of the clumsy controls. This clock was quick and easy to set up and I did not have to look at the manual at all.
The display and clear and easy to read.
Unlike most digital wall clocks this one includes the seconds -- some people may find the constant updates visually distracting.
