(More customer reviews)This book case is sharp! And it's solid wood - I'm so sick of garbage pressed wood products. It assembled very easily and quickly. 15 minutes +/- and you're ready to go.
It is a bit small at 3.5 feet - one more tier would be perfect! But its measurements are correct, so break out the measuring tape if you want to visualize its size.
It arrived in good time and perfect condition. When opening it I advise laying it down and removing it from the packaging that way. If you open it standing up and dump out the parts they may get away from you and break something (I almost did!).

(More customer reviews)The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the quality. But then again, for the price, you can't expect real wood. This desk and hutch is perfect for a kid's room, especially the hutch. Although not real wood it is solid and easy to assemble. I have recommended it to others who bought it and loved it as well. Highly recomment for a child's room since it looks great, it's functional, and not expensive. If damaged it is not expensive and it won't hurt your wallet. DEFINETELY get the hutch. It is worth every penny and more.

(More customer reviews)I honestly wasn't expecting a lot for this price but was very pleasantly surprised! This item is made in Canada although it is similar to something you would get from Ikea. It uses the familiar dowels, pegs and cams and only requires a screwdriver to assemble. The directions were well organized and easy to follow. Once assembled, the bookcase actually looks great with some nice extra touches like the arched front piece on the bottom and crown moulding on the top. It seems very sturdy and well made. Easily handles all four shelves full of books.

Mission Folding Bookcase - Natural Review

(More customer reviews)I've bought a number of bookcases from major retailers, and I get annoyed having to put them together. I especially hate the cheap cardboard backings, which inevitably fall off, that are often on these types of bookcases.
Fortunately, this bookcase avoids those two problems. The fold-out styles means that there is NO ASSEMBLY required. When I brought it home, I simply unpacked it and folded it out. It literally took two minutes to have the entire bookcase set up and ready to go. I was worried that a fold-out bookcase might be unsteady, which hasn't been the case at all. I was also concerned that the bookcase might look cheap, but it's really rather attractive.
The Mission style blends easily in most decors, although I think it probably looks best in a kitchen. I have mine in my kitchen to hold cookbooks. The folding style also means that it will be easy to move them to another room if you'd like. I plan on buying more of these convenient bookcases. A most highly recommended product!!!

(More customer reviews)When I received this desk, there were multiple scratches on the desk top. Also, in the picture the desk looks like it has three drawers (three pieces of hardware). It actually only has one big drawer (two pieces of hardware). I thought that was very misleading. I even attempted to get in touch with the manufacturer about this but I have yet to here a response. The instructions are difficult to follow as well.
Bottom line- there are better options out there.
