Let's start with the bad and get that out of the way...
1. There were areas that needed structure support because the screws were not enough
2. Where the desk joins, metal brackets were used on the inside to ensure there is ample support.
3. For the base, some areas that required screws needed more support as there was not enough or the screws did not work. That was fixed by an extra screw here or there.
4. Lastly, when it came to one of the drawers a roller was missing so I had to order one from the manufacture rather than hunt around town. Luckily, they are very quick at sending things so I hope to be seeing it very soon.
Now for the good...
1. The desk is huge! There is more room on the top part of the desk then I ever could of visualized.
2. The keyboard area fits a keyboard, a mouse, and a decent size mouse pad. I will eventually get a keyboard pad as that will fit on it for my wrist support.
3. The drawers are huge! I was amazed at the amount of space that is in the file section and the other drawer.
4. I had to look twice at the deepness on the other two sections because that is a lot and it fits office documents and the the second shelf (the pull out) has a small stack of writing paper which I can remove or just leave there.
5. I currently have the top part open and will most likely leave it as is.
6. I set up all of my speakers so they are in four corners. One on the upper part of the desk, one on the lower part near my monitor, and the other two are on the very top of the hutch.
7. As for the hutch, WOW! That's all I can say regarding it. I'm still in awe with the space that is open for storage.
8. The cubby storage with the door is really convenient then the cd storage is great. I like the cubby next to it as I have my favorite books and a few personal items for show.
9. The first short cubby has tissues and my cell phone which is very convenient.
10.The cubby next to it has three candles for decor.
11.The long cubby at the top is for my doctorate legal pads that I'm constantly grabbing. Oh, in the corner of the desk before it raises to the higher level, I have been keeping my doctorate books that are being used for the term and it works well as I can stand them up without needing a bookend.
12. It fits my desktop tower no problem since I need to stand it up. I can close it and you wouldn't know.

South Shore Furniture's Squared Collection Computer Center includes about everything a person could want in a desk. Brimming with storage options, the 63-inch desk's hutch alone offers four various sized shelves, a black 18-CD rack, and a small cabinet. Aside from these compartments, the hutch is open backed except for two kick plates connecting the end panels at the top and bottom of the open area. The open space proffers space for a 19-inch desktop computer monitor, in addition to enabling discrete cable passage to a power outlet, or computer accessories like a CPU tower, keyboard, and printer. Facing the split-level desktop, the computer sits on the right side, with a 26-by-15-inch keyboard tray and a partial back panel with a shelf installed below. A 10-by-27-by-22-inch CPU storage compartment hides behind a door to the left of the keyboard tray under the same desktop segment. The desk's left side benefits from a higher surface and contains two open shelves ideal for stashing printer paper, stacked atop a small all-purpose drawer and a file drawer that suits both legal and regular-sized file folders.
The Environmentally Preferred Product (EPP) certified computer center is crafted out of engineered wood and recycled fiber, with a regal cherry finish. The drawers, CPU door, and hutch storage compartment all share the same sleek metal loop handles, and both drawers and the keyboard tray roll out smoothly on patented metal slides with safety stops to prevent over extension. This unit requires home assembly. Wipe the desk clean with a damp cloth, avoiding ammonia-based cleansers which cause the finish to deteriorate.
